Suffering for God's Glory

Suffering for God's Glory

Sunday morning sermon for May 17, 2020.  How do we respond to suffering and persecution as Christians.  In this sermon, Brother Mark explores 1 Peter 3:13-18 and explains the direction given by the apostle Paul for handling suffering, persecution and conflict that we face as Christians.  Encourage one another, be bold and focus on Christ, be prepared to give a response to those who question the hope that is in you, and answer others with gentleness and respect while keeping a good conscience.  It is better to suffer for Christ than to do evil.  And finally, remember that Jesus is our example to follow when facing trials as a Christian.

Thank you Mark for such a timely message. I praise God that He loves me so that He would suffer and die for me. Thank you Jesus. May we all continue to encourage each other, especially during this pandemic.
