Mt. Carmel held a Men’s Cake Baking Contest on February 29, 2020. All of the cakes were winners and everyone left with a smile tinged with icing.

Armand Black Birthday Parade
Mt. Carmel UMC participated in a parade for Armand Black on his 98th birthday in front of his home on Dixonville Road on April 8, 2020. Mr. Black is a World War II veteran who lived across Hwy 89 from Hubert Hendricks until the early 80’s when he moved to his current residence. Mt. Carmel was invited to participate by his niece, Joan Barger, who lives in Mobile and was not able to attend due to the Coronavirus. The parade…

Christmas Program
You are invited to a Christmas program filled with songs, music, and nativity scenes. The Youth Choir and Church Band will perform multiple Christmas songs celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. Children will create the Nativity Scene. A time of fellowship including snacks will follow in Hood Hall.
